Good morning everyone and Happy Easter! I hope you are not stuffing your faces with chocolate eggs cos' i will be jealous as i haven't got any, boo! hoo!
******************
I have something different to share with you all today.
I have altered an old DVD storage unit and made it into a crafty storage for my pens, inks and wooden rubber stamps.
This is the unit before altering.
Here i have adhered some pretty
pink Dovecraft paper and distressed with paint.
Here is a close up of the paper.
I have diecut a few pieces using my Magnolia Doohickey 'Old Swedish Lace' die and added some sequin trim.
The next thing i did was to stamp all over the top and sides with my Prima 'Botanical' stamp using Sepia ink.
Now i cut some paper to fit the dvd cases and stamped the same image all over and inserted them into the cases making them look much prettier i think.
And the finished look! I will probably change things around a few times until i'm happy with it.

Wow! This is such a stunning transformation! You have really turned the ordinary into the extraordinary with this project. I think I have one of these shelving units lying around and you've inspired me to turn it into something pretty and handy. I love all the attention to detail you included like the sequins and faux lace. Congrats on creating something that's both beautiful and useful. Thanks for sharing this with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog!
This is a fabulous altered storage project Hazel, I bet it looks lovely on your craft desk.
